It is high time I left Google products. It is getting scary.
As Romney (wasn’t it) said, “Corporations are people too” (lol), and the G-person knows too much. 
I wouldn’t want my SO or sister or mom to know about me as much as Google knows.
I should slowly escape. They’ll have all data on me so far, but should reduce the further flow. The gradual transition has started… very slowly.

Welcome to the league. It has been more than 2 years since I stopped using google search. I use duckduckgo.com instead. Its pretty decent, some times even better than G as the SEO bullying and search personalization is not their agenda. Bing is also very good.
Moving away from gmail is bit tricky as you have dependency on others (or vice versa).
